Blackberry Ridge Woolen Mill — now under new ownership! Nestled in the Driftless hills just outside Mount Horeb, our locally-owned spinnery has been producing woolen yarn since 1988. New co-owners Sarah Best and Leslie Schroeder are carrying forward the legacy of longtime steward Anne Bosch, continuing the mill's tradition of natural fiber hand knitting yarns and custom carding and spinning services — and its role as a hub connecting shepherds, knitters, and fiber lovers across southern Wisconsin. As the mill enters this new chapter, the incoming owners invite the community to celebrate the continuity of craft and the shared belief that small, dedicated operations can keep traditional skills thriving.
