The building at the corner of High and Commerce Streets in Mineral Point, WI was constructed in the mid 1930s and was a gas station/auto shop for decades. It was renovated in the mid 2000's and has recently re-opened as a full service yarn shop and cozy gathering spot for people to knit, crochet, stitch or just relax with friends.
Joy Gieseke opened The Station February 1, 2020 after retiring from a long career as Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce in Mineral Point, a community that won her heart at first sight. Now she is able to follow her passion of knitting and inspiring others to find peace through stitching.
