About the Hop

The Madtown Yarn Shop Hop is an annual event that started in 2017 as a way to celebrate our local fiber community and support small, locally owned businesses in Madison, Wisconsin and the surrounding area. Over the years, the Shop Hop has expanded to include different farms and mills to round out the experience.

Due to the continuation of the global COVID-19 epidemic, many shops continue to have safety precautions in place. Please respect each individual shop's safety precautions and sanitization procedures for your safety and theirs; see each shop's individual page for more details about their requests. Participants who do not follow the safety guidelines of any shop will be disqualified from all prize drawings at every shop, for this event and all future Madtown Yarn Shop Hop events.
