Shop Hop Info
The Madtown Yarn Shop Hop is an annual event that started in 2017 as a way to celebrate our local fiber community and support small, locally owned businesses in Madison, Wisconsin and the surrounding area. Over the years, the Shop Hop has expanded to include different farms and mills to round out the experience.
The Hop's Map
Due to the global COVID-19 epidemic, many shops will only be participating virtually this year, while some are participating both virtually and in person. Please be advised that Dane County has enacted a mandatory mask mandate when indoors in public, and outdoors where social distancing cannot be properly maintained. Please respect each individual shop's safety precautions and sanitization procedures for your safety and theirs. Participants who do not follow the safety guidelines of any shop will be disqualified from all prize drawings at every shop, for this event and all future Madtown Yarn Shop Hop events.

How to Hop
To participate in this year's hop, fiber enthusiasts have the ability to participate both in person or virtually, depending on their level of comfort and the capabilities of each participating shop. Rather than prizes based on the number of shops visited, each shop will be drawing for a small, medium, and grand prize from their store! See shops' individual information pages to find out how you can enter prize drawings virtually, and learn about in-person options for each shop. Please remember to follow all safety precautions listed by each shop when visiting in person
