To stamp your Shop Hop passport, you must visit each shop in person. Pick up your passport at the first location you visit: each shop will have a supply of blank passports. Some locations may have additional door prizes or methods of virtual participation - please see individual shop pages for more details.

2026 Advisory Board consists of Wisconsin anchor brick and mortar yarn shops that were in the 2025 hop + two legacy members with physical locations in Dane Co. (Four Crows and Sun Valley).Sow’s EarSpry WhimsyFlaxen FleeceSugar River YarnsFour CrowsSun Valley FibersThe Yarn Station
In 2026, the Advisory Board hired Ah-Ha! Event Management to coordinate the Shop Hop. AHEM is a non-voting member of the advisory board and has overall management responsibilities.Shop Hop EligibilityTo be an “anchor” location (and therefore on the passport) - must be a brick & mortar shop within a 30 minute drive of Dane County. Must sell yarn or fiber for spinning.Artist in Residence or Pop-up - can only participate if within an anchor location. Up to each individual shop whether they want to host or not. All members must choose and pay for their participation tier by 8/15/26 to be included. Future years, this deadline will be much earlier.If a business falls outside of this eligibility definition, the advisory board will vote on their inclusion. Participation Tiers - for 2026 If a location is eligible to participate in the shop, they can then choose a tier which dictates how much additional  marketing and support the business will get from AHEMProposed: 5x Shop Spotlight Marketing posts during phase 1 (July 15 - August 13), 5 x Shop Spotlight Marketing posts during phase 2 (August 14 - Sept 25). Premium promotion: each gets a full dedicated spotlight post (photo carousel + rich caption), featured first (July–early Sept), tagged in the map/route posts, and named individually in the thank-you round-up. Priority for event-day and pre-event reshares.3 x Shop Spotlight Marketing posts during phase 2 (August 14 - Sept 25). Standard promotion: each gets one dedicated spotlight post (single photo + caption) in September, inclusion in map posts, and mention in the thank-you round-up.1 x Shops group feature posts during phase 2 (August 14 - Sept 25). Basic promotion: featured together in one combined 'more great stops' post in September, shown on all map posts, and included in the group thank-you.
