A Madison native, Lynette Tucker learned to knit from her mother when she was 9 years old. Her interest rekindled several years ago and blossomed when she joined a neighborhood knitting group. It was during one winter gathering when someone in her knitting group mentioned the loss of yet another dedicated yarn shop. They recognized that these are more than retail spaces. Yarn shops are sources of inspiration, education, relaxation and connection. The seed was planted, and Sunset Yarn was born!
